︎Defining an interior space with floor, wall and ceiling has always been an intuition, but the same logic does not follow by caterpillars as they can move freely across all surfaces without seeing them as different types. With chair legs like limbs installed even to the back, Manifold’s new Eruca Chair features an unusual form similar to a caterpillar climbing up a wall. It is an invitation to consider a different approach to interior spaces by physically constructing the possible perspective of another species.
